IRL Location Scouting

During break this weekend, me and manuela went out to do location scouting. We needed to find which bathroom we were going to use. At first we were simply going to use the school bathroom, but then in a group meeting someone recommended that we could use a bathroom in a public park. We thought this was a really great idea since they're all government buildings so they all kind of look the same, and it would also allow us to film outside of school hours and not have to deal with the logistical hassle of filming in school. We made a list of a few different parks around my city and went around town looking through them.

First one we went to was Regional Park. This bathroom was weirdly nice. But, it did have a nice blank wall that we could work on. We definitely could not write raw on this wall since it was way too nice and felt wrong.

Then  then we went to Town Center I went to this bathroom that we remembered that no one ever goes to. And the good thing that we remembered about it is that it locks, which would allow us to film things without trouble and since no one ever goes there and there's a bunch of other bathrooms there it would be super hassle free. However we went in there and they didn't have those school tile style bathroom doors, and they also literally had MARBLE WALLS.  So this one was easily eliminated.

Then after that we went to peace mound. We had remember that peace mound had a bathroom that was kind of school core not super nice and that would also be easy to film inside because not that many people go to peace mode or park. When we go there we see that they had done a recent remodel to the bathroom and it was really really nice. This one literally had glass doors.

After a tired and defeated day we went and sat by the lake and pondered what we could do. We started looking through Google Maps and found two other parks that we might be able to go to.

Full of hope we headed over to this fourth park Vista view. And guess what we found the Holy Grail! The men's bathroom kind of looked a bit prison but the woman's one was fine and looked very school core. It was that perfect school aesthetic that we were going for (low key deteriorating government building core). Since it fit the style very well and was in a very big park (so there were other bathrooms around people could go to) we decided this was the best option, and when Nicole came back from Colombia we planned to go back and film that next weekend.

Social Media Schedulinggg

Even though we are making our social media posts on Canva, and therefore don't have to live post them by a schedule, its still very important that our fabricated "post dates" are realistic. One really important thing that we have to consider in terms of the social media planning schedule is when our film is actually gonna be posted in the coming two months, going from prior reccomendations and research, I would say before the film is released between announcing and they actually say there should be at least 30 posts. thirty posts divided across 60 days would mean that every two days we should make one post.

Which means that every week we should have three to four social media posts. So you know what that means it's schedule time again yayyyyyyy!!!! (not sarcastic im a fan of schedules even if im not great at following them)
