Hello Blog! This is basically where I'll be planning how I will manage my CCR. Going off of my notes on the CCR Lecture my instructor did for us and keeping in mind the tips given these are my plans.
I'll be dividing my CCR into two roughly equal parts of around 3 minutes 30 each. Each part will answer two questions. In all of my responses I'll make sure to include relevant research, to elevate my points, as well as including graphics to make sure my video appears dynamic and interesting.
In order to Plan out my ideas for each question I created a Script!

Script I created in Google Docs |
As you'll see in the script, I split up the document into one part for each question. My CCR is going to be split into two parts. The first CCR. would be focused on Question 1 How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues, as well as, How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text? The Idea I had for this one is pretty out there but hear me out. An Interview in "Interviewception, where interviewers get to interview alternate reality versions of myself". Basically an interview where alternate reality Juan, interviews "Relocated" creator Juan. I would dress up in two different styles and conduct an interview with myself.
For the second CCR, it would be focused on Question 3, How did your production skills develop throughout this project? and Question 4, How did you integrate technologies – software, hardware and online – in this project? My
idea is to film it like a youtube video, answering curiosities from
fans on how my work on this project went. For this one I want to heavily
incorporate graphics, as they do in many Youtube videos, following one
of the big tips from my research on the CCR, which is to avoid video
that is just a talking head.
Research from a prior blog post showing how to incorporate graphics into a talking head segment |
Through these CCR's I hope to be able to stick with a lot of the tips our instructor gave us and I've researched for suiccesful CCR's. Those mainly being incorporating loads and loads of research, and using graphics to create interesting and engaging reflections.
