The planning stage is pretty close to over and its time to film! But, there's a small problem, this weekend I've got a speech and Debate competition, and next weekend I've got a Model UN competition, so even not counting actors it may be hard to find time to film during weekends, when it would be easiest. But, of course, we persevere, so in this blog I'll be trying to figure out which days and in what locations I could possibly get for filming.
Therefore, using the setting information I gathered in my prior post, I started on a Shot List, which has helped me figure exactly which days I would be available to film on. After creating my shot list, and using the locations which I got during last blog, I think there are a few things I could film before Spring Break. For the school scenes, there are some parts which I can definately do during school hours. It would take some planning, as I'd have to get my actors to leave their class and come to my AICE Media class, as this would be the ideal environment to record in; however, especially if my actor has some sort of privilege or study hall, this would be made immensely more easy. The scene of this character in the classroom, I'll try to film during school hours, either this week, or next week. Right now, I think the most likely would be next Tuesday, the 19th. I could also use this time, to film a few shots around the school, especifically, of the white gate, and an establishing shot of the school. However, I will have to see what the lighting is like in the morning, since I'd have to match the lightning between the shots of the school, and the shot of my main character entering the school.

However, there are some scenes which I will definately have to film during weekends, which will probably leave me no other option, but to start filming Friday, 22nd, which is a little later than I would have hoped, but since I will have Spring break to work after that and I will have plenty of free time, I should have more than enough time to film and edit. The specific scenes that will definitely have to be filmed during this time, are all the scenes involving the Airport, as considering the time especially for my actors this would not be possible on a weekday, and also any films involving the car, since it would involve either asking my parents, or a friend who has a license for help, which would again, not make it possible during a school day. By getting any other filming done from the 22nd through to the 24th, given that my actors are available, it should give me 5 days of Spring break time to have to dedicate to post-production, allowing me to finish the bulk of the editing.
